There were two popular surf music instrumentals in the late 60's. One was
Wipe Out and later
Pipeline. Gottlieb came out with a pinball machine called
Wipe Out which was second only to their popular
Shoe Repair.

In the basement of the 70's architectural gem the Hyatt Regency in San Francisco was a barbershop. No one was ever in there and it looked like they did not encourage walk-ins. It was the kind of shop that movie stars flew in town to go to. They had a signed photo of Marty Allen on the wall.
