El Show de Estrada

The holiday season is upon us and Carrie Donvan, rest her soul is no longer with us, but according to the PR Newswire:

Erik Estrada and Walter Mercado Welcome Hispanic Television Viewers To 'El Maravilloso Mundo De Old Navy'; - Cultural Icons Star in Old Navy's First Spanish-Language National Television Ads, Debuting November 23.

I vote for Sir Monte Rock III to be included.

Take El Estrada, put the hair of the blond cop dude (whatever his name was) and you've got Walter! Oh, a little make up and chiffon help.

Did you know that Erik was in "Airport '75" (released in '74)? He reads maps, flirts with a stewardess (definitely NOT a flight attendant) and then dies from the impact of that Cessna.

I got all excited at seeing Charo in the Old Navy ads. And Minnie Riperton!

That's amazing, I was walking up Valencia tonight, and I swear that I passed Minnie Ripperton!

Watch telemundo for the Old Navy ads...I swear. I wish they would bring back Magic the dog. What do Walter, Eric, and Monte Rock III have in common?

They are all Puerto Rican!

Erik gave me a heavy cruise once during the taping of Dick Clark's Rockin New Years Eve special. I was there doing Tanya Tucker's makeup.

I think Monte Rock III was the second gay person I was aware of growing up. The first was Little Richard. They both scared the s**t out of me but I was strangely attracted.

Let's start a protest to bring back Magic the Dog!
