love New Orleans. For a while after visiting I was pronoucing it correctly, but I'm back to "New Orleens." No one pronounces it N'Awlins, the Amos & Andy show went off the air years ago, darlings. NOLA has a "Department of Parks and Boulevards." Don't you love it? They also have a Halloween Parade by the Krewe of Boo.
