Well, now I've gone down a rarebit hole, I mean rabbit hole. Turns out Thomas Edison did a film about the rarebit fiend . It's a Live-action/animated film. Windsor McCay (pictured) did the nightmare sequence animation that involves demons crawling out of a chafing dish. Speaking of which, my ex-cook Shelbey wrote a book of poetry called Demons of the Chafing Dish. Shelbey asked me to paint cover owl (c) 2009.
