Good lord, it's the world's largest Selectric Typewriter platen!

You're right, I never thought of that. Platen is one of my favorite words. Memories of secretaries changing balls to "Orator" to type up executives' speeches. Also, John Greyson's movie "Uncut" features guys on a roof with red Selectrics typing up an essay how circumcision was thought to cure homosexuality. Was this also the movie with the guy with Pierre Trudeau obsession? I think so. And the jury of snails.

I see the Selectric platen, but I also see a golf tee at the bottom. Or is that a Selectric Platen Tee intended to send my words into the cosmos? Oh, Dr. Digdug, what does this say about my psyche?

Hello,

I'd appreciate if you can give me some feedback on our site: www.regencyshop.com

I realize that you are home decor-modern design connoisseur :) I'd like to hear your opinion/feedback on our products. Also, it'd be swell if you can place our tulip chair link on your blog.

Thank you,

Nancy
