The toad has a crust

Regarding terminology I do not agree with esteemed grammarian H. W. Fowler that "Welsh Rabbit is amusing and right. Welsh Rarebit is stupid and wrong." I believe the Welsh rarebit is right. I believe eating it stupid and wrong. Speaking of which, here's another brilliant UK dish called Toad in the Hole. As you can see the Toad has a crust, a filling of Yorkshire pudding and then pork product: sausages. You can also use kidneys.

I've heard that the new Toad Hall in the Castro is serving Toad in the Hole during Sunday brunch.

Ah, the great Windsor McKay.

BTW I think that's a *different* kind of Toad in the Hole, Ladron.

Oh, I think Steve's right. It's Towed in the Hole.
